Is electrolysis really permanent?
Yes. Electrolysis treats each follicle one by one so it can no longer grow hair, and it is the only hair removal method the FDA allows to be marketed as permanent. Most people need a series of sessions because hairs grow in cycles.
How many sessions will I need?
Small facial areas typically take 8 to 15 sessions over 9 to 18 months. Hormonal hair, such as with PCOS, often takes longer. Aida gives you a personal estimate at the free consultation.
Does electrolysis hurt?
Most clients feel a quick warm sting with each hair. Aida adjusts the method and settings to your comfort, and many clients get used to it after the first visit.
Can you remove gray, blonde or red hair?
Yes. Electrolysis does not depend on hair pigment, so it works on gray, white, blonde and red hair that laser cannot treat.
How much does electrolysis cost?
Sessions start at $50 for the upper lip (20 minutes) and go up to $150 for legs (60 minutes). The consultation is free and new clients get $25 off the first electrolysis session.
